And you know that every minute that passes is another minute Finch and Sindeo are in danger. But you pass the time by having conversations, cheering up Stump, sharing stories of your past, maybe singing campfire songs.So what has happened here in the grove while you've been waiting? It's been a few days, Louise.

Like, some movement kind of catches your eye.And you see this, like, outline of a figure, sun behind them. So it's like, oh, the sun's kind of in your eyes. As you're looking, this figure's walking closer.As it's getting closer and closer, you notice, you know, fairly tall, about human size. But you notice, like, instead of just like a normal round head, you see some. Something pointing out floppy.

They have lop ears.

Never mind. You see, like, the head is wider because the ears are coming locked down.

It looks like a big, burly, ish guy walking toward you, right? His head is too wide. As you get closer, you see that it's lopped ears and a rabbit.

Nice. And that's what you see walking towards you. And you remember, this is Sage, who you have met and traveled just a little bit with.But, yeah, you see Sage actually coming down the road. You know, you were supposed to be here waiting for Sage. It's been a couple days until Sage has actually showed up.But you now see Sage walking down the road to your direction. And Sage, you enter the campground.

And I'm like, ah, bunny person. Like, like, window. You get it? Okay.

And stuff is like, eloi, listen to this. She bang. She bang. Oh, baby. She move. She move. What you think?

One is the Rufiogo Isles.One is the Edge Wake. Excuse me. Which is in the interim. Rufioga Isles is in the Outer Rim. And the Pilgrimage Path, which is in the Central descent.Those are your three locations where you know that the artifacts are Outer Rim, Inner Rim, or Central Descent. So there's one in every major area. Major area.

I'm looking at my notes from two recordings ago, and it is like the scribblings of a madman. I cannot. I'm actually, like, blown away. This is like e. A chew of. And then it says chew ball rope.I'm assuming that was shorthand for the legendary items we're after.

The Edge Wake, which is in the inner rim, is the Ball of Return.The central descent, which is the pilgrimage path, was the rope of binding.And kind of like I said with the map, technically the Ru Yoga Isles, from where you are looking on the map, is technically the closest on the outer rim, which is heading south. The inner rim, the Edge Wake, where the Ball of Return is, is on the complete opposite side of the the rim.So you have to kind of go around the wasteland a little bit. Again, that's on the complete north side. And then the central descent, obviously is in the center of Cindo and the.

Most dangerous region, which is the pilgrimage.

I suggest we do the EAS part first.

This episode, you decide to make your way south, and there are, like, many paths that lead out of this grove. You notice, like, in the inner rim, there's stuff everywhere. You've also noticed in the inner rim that the landscape is much, you know, different.It's much harsher. In the inner rim than it is in the outer rim. It's a lot more rocky and craggy.Even with trees and grass and everything around here, it just looks a lot more desolate.You do notice that as you're beginning to, like, start to head south a little bit before you even leave the grove, like, all of a sudden, you're starting to feel just a little bit lighter. Not much.

But you're starting to feel just a little bit lighter.

All also all wearing a bunch of, like, cloaks and like a hood up.

Like wiz, like wizards.

That you can see yeah.And they come out and you notice they all kind of like pull their cloaks back a little bit and you just see like there are like swords and daggers and they all kind of encircle and just kind of stop and stare at you. And you see the. The tall person pull his hood off.

And you notice.

No. Human man, bald as can be. Got like scars over his eyes, kind of a big head. And he looks at you all, he's like. You asko people.

Oh my God.

You see all the small like halfling size, they're all pulling off their hoods, same thing. They're all like short and bald and just staring at you all like.

Sage is just calm as can be standing there just staring.And then all of a sudden, you see this rock rise up from behind Sage and just shoots with such force at this guy, just smacking him right in the head. And. Why don't you go ahead and roll me two D8s.

You can do. You can just. You can do that. You just attack. Oh, my gosh.

This whole time, it could have just been attacking. We don't have to wait.

And as he was like about to charge, you just see him stop and do that like cartoony thing where just like falls straight back,.

And you just see he is just knocked out. And there's like a trail of blood coming from where the rock smacks in the forehead as let's all roll for initiative.

And then their leader is just, like, knocked on his back in the middle. But they're all out in the open so about.I mean, they're only about, you know, 20ft away in all directions.

Okay, Louie's gonna roll in to the left side, and he's going to pull out his quarter staff and do some damage on the first two or seek two. Okay, so we got a 16.

That definitely hits.

Yeah.So essentially, the first strike comes low, swipes his feet, and as he's falling to the ground, the second strike comes back and around and over the top of elui's head and right down on his forehead. Donk knocks him out, and he falls down.

All right, also, just to get a clear visual here, they all have, like, swans and stars, like, spinning around their heads.

And you notice that like here in the Inner Rim, it seems to be a place where everyone goes to stay away from the Outer Rim, where most of the law is.The Inner Rim is where they kind of go to like, set up camp. And like, they know that they're not going to get prosecuted or chased by anybody. It's like, it's kind of the Wild west best out here.So they kind of make their camps here and then go do their dirty work in the Outer Rim and come back to the Inner Rim kind of situation. So you notice a lot of like different camps as you've been making your journey. Eventually you get to end of like this day, you're safe.Next day starts, starts with a good day and you begin to make your way some more. More same. It's still pretty rough terrain. You don't come. You've noticed, like, you don't come across any towns. You haven't come across any town.You haven't come across any more like buildings. Like the Wizards Union hall is really the only building you've seen so far here in the Inner Rim.Everything else you see are just like camps with like tents and things that you're like, okay, we're gonna steer clear from that.

A new frontier.

Yeah, basically.And eventually you get your, you get to that spot where you are now in the Wasteland Rim that, that, that, that, that rim that separates the Outer Rim and the Inner Rim that you all crossed through last time where you got your bone knife from it's like just desolate rock. So, you know, like, this is the barrier between the two. Why don't you all roll me. Roll me a constitution check, everybody.

And eventually you also notice that in this region, grass is not so tall.There's not a whole lot of just really wild, unkept, like, landscape here. Like, you see roads now, and these roads are, like, trimmed and, like, graded,.

So it's intentionally been, oh, what the.

And you do see a sign that says, welcome to the Rufiogo Isles.

But, yeah, everything is looking like nice landscape, lush towns. You do notice in the distance that there's a river and the water is gushing up, like, way fast into the sky.

And you look at your map, and you're like, okay, Puperville. Okay, we're heading in the right direction. We still got to keep going further south, like, a ways. But Pupperville, I see that on the Map.Okay, we're getting closer.

So you don't know, like how deep? Like, like, because the way the water's going up, it's a wall.

You toss that gong down, you hop on it and you immediately hit that wall.And just like surfing on a wave, you know, you're kind of riding that for a little bit, going up.And you all noticed that like you, you pictured him to either just like go barreling through, but just the force of the water and him like, the pressure he's putting is perfect. Where he starts riding up at an angle.

Yeah.

And you see him just like slowly ascending up, up this wall.And as he kind of like turns a little bit to like make a cut or something, you go through the wall of water because, you know, you still have some forward momentum from the push and the water's pulling you up, but now it's kind of pulling you like into a turn. So you're actually going through the wall now. And you all see Eloi just kind of disappear into the water.

This may be bad.

And Eloi on the other side, you notice that it goes maybe a couple feet and then you're on the other side now and you're like, oh, crap, there's the ground. It was not a very wide river. This was more of a creek. But the water just keeps gushing up and it just like never ends.

Oh, wow.

And so there's water consistently, but it was a creek, so not like a full on river. So didn't take much to get through it, but it was enough to hold you up.But eventually you get through, but you're still kind of like, like riding up a little bit and you start kind of riding down to the other side as you all just notice that Louie.

And.But Eloise, as you like have gone through this, you now see on the other side just very beautiful, like towns again, not like in the Whisker Lens where everything is very colorful and bright and fabric and everything is like super jungly looking Here you see very nice, like I'm almost gonna say, like very cottage core is what I'm thinking. Like a lot of cottages and like all the yards have like beautiful gardens in them. Everything is manicured, trimmed hedges.There's a, like flower pots in all the windows in this town. And you see just on the other side is the ocean that you can see just past this town. And that's what you see on the Other side of the water.And you all on the other side of the river just see that Eloi has disappeared through it.

That are your main road southeast of the ocean, blah, blah, blah. On the west side of town, you do see that there is. I mean, it looks like an inn.Nothing really has signs, but the way it's kind of built, it's got, like, the big double doors. There is a sign that says open on it. So presumably it looks more like what an inn would be.You do see that there are a few other, like, shops as well. You see the one with, like, the. The anvil and the hammer. So that's probably like the blacksmith.So there are a few shops also to the west, to the east, it looks like more personal homes. That's kind of like where the Residential area is south.South basically is leading out of town, and north is kind of where you came from, which is also more residential. So you can go kind of the business district where you probably will find an in. It's a little bit of a.You got to run really fast, you know, hopefully you get there before they come out the building. Pretty much anywhere you go, you're gonna have to.

They begin to, like, split up and kind of, like, different directions. You see one of them, like, reach behind and pull out this stone and begins, like, speaking into it. And then they begin to kind of, like, spread out.The four of them, the two elves and the two process servers.

But two of them go east. One goes north, and one is heading west. One of the process servers is heading west towards your direction.Are you all just going to kind of hole up in the inside and back door.
