Welcome. Okay, this. This isn't really the Sendeo School for Wizardry and whatever else I just said, that's just kind of where we left off last episode.We found ourselves in a wizard union hall that was also a university for young and upcoming wizards. And what'd y' all think about where we left off last episode?

I think a couple punk kids are trying to crash the party.

Trying to traumatize or put the PTSD back in stump.

Yeah, frankly, I'm scared they really put.

So, yeah, where we last left off are adventurers. AKA you3. You made it to the wizards union hall. You were ushered in, sent to a waiting room.You were met by Miles, who kind of showed you around for a little bit. And then he was like, hey, I have to go take care of some things, Explore, do whatever you want.Just don't bug the main wizards because they're having a meeting in there.But he kind of told you a little bit about the three factions, who they are, who the leaders are, what they kind of believe to kind of give you a rundown. Then he took off. You all decided to go do a little bit of exploring, met some of the. The young whippersnappers that attend this wizard university.

Yeah.

Notice some are kind of jerks.

No one wants to talk to us.

Yeah.

You did also find that kind of interesting. Everyone was like, oh, one second. Once you mentioned the word anomalies. They were just like quick to.

Nope.

Yeah.

And one guy told us he wasn't allowed to talk to us.

Yeah, that's right.

Yeah.

It's like that is true. And then after some exploring, finding some cool things out, you've explored about about half of this.This union hall, this wizarding school, whatever you want to call it, you explored about half of it until you eventually found a giant telescope that showed some pretty eerie things to easy. And to all of you, really.

And Leaster.

Yeah, Leaster showed up, told me to.

Look in it if it told all of us to look into it.

But, yeah, the. The RTT loyalists are the ones who have, like, the white fancy robes, very, like, puffy and feline esque.And then the Rufiogo loyalists have the green robes, and then the fringe are more of the plain brown, almost like, you know, knapsacks.

But, yeah, and then.Then whenever you notice something in the telescope which was like a mysterious figure pointed at you left, you realized. Well, you didn't realize, but everyone else realized. You're petrified while looking into the telescope. And then you were visited by some friends.

Oh, yeah. No, actually, no, These. These are just textbook bullies, man.

All kinds of weird, like, other dimensions.

Oh, like ourselves. Oh, yeah.

Well, that's not what I was gonna say, but that this isn't the first time Zendaya's been. Yeah.

And so I'm curious, like, the telescope, did it. Did it go so far out that it went back around the universe, like, in a different time?

Okay, questions. All right, so where we will pick up from today is you all find yourselves on the platform. Stump and Eloi Stump.You picked up easy once you kind of saw these. And then you see. Oh, shoot, what were the names? Stefan and Chadwin. Yeah, you see those two?

They're real. You know, anybody named Stefan or Chadwin out there? But they're kind of, you know, pompous.

Yep. And you see, they also have three buddies with them. So it's five Rufiogo or not Rufio Rum Tum Tugger loyalists who've walked up there. They.They looked at you and said, you know, heard you, like, dumpsters or trash cans, whatever it was they said. And Stump was like, you know, and how we're gonna start this off is.

Let's roll for initiative.

Yep, that's what I was thinking.

And I can't do anything.

And then stump guns. Not bogo.

I've been thinking about that, like, all week.

I just cringe.

Okay, so, yeah, they show up, you roll for initiative. The order is going to be. Eloise, you will be up first.

Then it will be the young wizards. And then Stump, it'll be your turn. And then we will figure out something with. Easy. So, Eloise, you find yourself on a platform.It is a round, circular platform. Y' all remember Harry Potter and the scene where Dumbledore gets, you know, zapped and falls off.

Spoilers if they haven't seen it by now.

Yeah, it's true. That's kind of what this platform looks like. It's just a big, round platform. Them with the stairs that go down, we're.We're talking, you know, 30 foot in diameter.

Oh, well. And access to outside. Like, over the cliff or.

No, no, just where the slit is open for the telescope to go out. Stone walls.

Yeah.

Okay, just kind of that circular. But you're, like, elevated. But there's no other levels besides the stairs that go back downstairs, upstairs, down.

How tall is the ceiling from here?

Oh, it probably goes up like, 60, 70ft. Very tall. Yeah. You're, like, in one of the. The.

We're way up high right now.

Well, you're not way up high. No, you're only, you know. What was that? Like, maybe 20 steps up to get to the platform. But you're in. What's like the. Like the turret of the castle.The pillar that, like, on the ends, like, that go straight up really high. They're, like, more decorative. You're, like, in that part of the.

Okay.

The little castle hall thing.

So as these punks are walking in and trying to pick on Stomp, elui's up there and, you know, time kind of slows down. Right. We've entered initiative. And his big bushy eyebrows just kind of, you know, kind of perk up. Like, he's like, huh?

What's going on here?

And then he quickly just reaches behind, pops the tap on his keg, and downs a quick brew. Okay, so those of you who don't know, elui does follow the way of the drunken master.

Yes.

So it's Just a small little prep before what he's about to do. Before he fights children, before he beats up a bunch of kids.

Start playing the Kill Bill music. Oh, yeah.

And then he pulls out a sword.

Yeah.

Okay. Yeah. So Stump is. I mean, Eloise is looking at Stump being like he's upset. So he's gonna.After he takes a quick swig, he's gonna run right after the first couple of these guys and see if he can knock some sense in.

Perfect.

Chadwin is the one up front.

Yeah.

Who and the rest are kind of like, around him. So do you wanna go for Chadwin, the one I get the closest?

He's looking to put Chadwin in his place quickly in hopes that these other guys might kind of, you know, take the message.

Sweet. Are you using Hand's weapon?

Yep. So he's got a bo staff.

Perfect.

And so he pulls his bo staff off his back and, oh, he, you know, just unhooks it the keg so it falls, jumps over, and he's gonna whack this dude with this learning rod known as his bo staff.

All right, Make a roll for it.

Okay.

Yeah.

And he's got two attacks.

So here we go.

Okay, it's gonna be. It's gonna be up there. It's gonna be 27 and.

Oh, my gosh, 23.

You murder a child?

No, he's. No. Okay, so Elui is basically.

So describe how he does.

And he kills this boy. No. So elui is typically non lethal as a monk. He values the treasures, the life, and he wants to teach. He's too old, right?

Want to just. Just get out there and draw blood. So. Okay. Yeah.

So so you roll for both attacks.

Yeah. So he's gonna do two. He has.

Okay, so we'll do one attack at a time in case you want to do any, like, key points which. Which coincide with one action. And then, so, yeah, so, yes, they're both gonna hit. So we'll start with one. Okay.

Rock and roll. All right, so here we go. That's gonna be a four plus five is a nine.

Okay.

And then, sure, we'll do a stunning strike on a key point. So my boy Chadwin is gonna have to roll a 13. Con save.

Con save. Perfect. His concave is not too bad. That is a three. Oh, dang.

Sweet.

I say that. Then he rolls bad.

Okay, so on a failed save, he stuns. So elui takes out his bow staff, jumps off the little platform. He's kind of standing on wax.

Chadwin in the head while he's stunned.

Yeah. And now Chadwick's like. And he's. He's stunned up. So thank you, dm, for allowing me to take these two at a time. He's going to go for the next guy.

Okay.

On the next. The next attack.

Perfect. Okay, so, yeah, Chadwin is stunned, knocked down. I'm going to say he's that like, the stunning, like, actually makes him fall to the ground.

Yeah.

You know, from that stunning strike, taking some damage. And you're gonna move on to the next guy.

Sweet. Okay, so he's gonna. With his bow staff again. He's gonna hit for 11. Yep. And takes 11 damage. And then he's gonna try to stun him as well.We'll use another key point here. So ease right.

Waste all his key points.

Five total. Yeah.

Wait till you waste them. Then the boss will come up.

Wow.

Actually and this one. And where instead of stunning strike, he's gonna do fury of blows.

Oh, gosh.

Which is two more unarmed strikes.

Which is two more unarmed str. So I'm gonna go ahead and roll those at the same time.

Perfect.

Yeah, that you can. Yes.

Okay.

Oh, it's a nat one.

Oh.

Oh, man. So that's probably gonna miss. And then it's actually a nine total. And then the other one is a 14 total.

Yeah. So your net one is automatic failure.

And then your other one will hit. So the first one you go to swing, maybe just the shock of him getting hit, just he maybe bends over at a pain right when you take that first swing.And he just ducks under it without even knowing he ducks under it. And then when he stands back up is when he clock him with the other. The other fist as you roll damage.

For that one and six damage on that one.

And you're going non. Lethal.

Yeah, non lethal, meaning they see that.

This guy is knocked out.

They're children.

So Stump is watching this and, like, it's all happening, like, slow mo for him. Just like. Like punching. And he's just like.

Eloi is the coolest guy Scott has ever seen.

He's just, like, amazed by how brave and cool you are. Like, he can't believe it.

Well done.

Awesome.

And so to end Eloise turn, he gets a disengage on a hit from his fury of blows.So he basically kind of just does a backward two rolls, like a back somersault, you know, across the floor, stands back up with his stick, and he's in his ready position.

He's ready to go. Nice. Okay, it is now the RTT loyalist turn.

And what's gonna happen now?

You see that Chadwin is still out. But you see Stefan, his other buddy, one of the other ones you talked to, he's gonna roll on up. He is now even more angry that you all obviously.Or that you came and just like, took out two of his guys like that quickly. He's going to look at the three of you and he's like. He looks at you. He's like, yeah, you may have fancy.

Sticks and fast fists, but try dodging.

This as he cast magic missile.

Oh,.

You can't dodge that.

That's like a rule. That's not a automatic hit. And he is going to cast that at second level. So you're going to get four darts at you.

Oh, no.

Yeah. And the whole time when Eluie attacks, he's got these grunts in this.

That's gonna be 13 points of damage to you.

Oh, man.

Okay, so. So as those misses come in.

I forgot about this. Dang it.

Wait, what's happening?

So as a. As a monk, anytime I get hit, I can use a deflect attack and so on.

Magic missile, even.

Yeah.

That's so cool.

Anytime you're hit at all, then you can.

You.

You can roll to deflect it and see how well it deflects.

As long as it's range. Yeah.

Wow.

Wow. Okay, so that's a. That's a zero on a D10. Is a 10 10. Yep. So it's a 10 plus 10. It's a one D10 plus 10 deflect.So as the missile comes in, Elui takes his beard and makes this kind of circling motion.

Wow.

And then it comes at him. And as it. As it's coming to him, he can also redirect attack if he takes no damage.So he's gonna spend a focus point to try to throw this missile back at this guy.

Okay.

Okay. And so you have to make a.

Range attack to throw it back.

So it's a deck save. Okay, so he's got it. It hasn't hit him. It's rounded him. He's coming back around, and he's like, whirling his beard around this missile.

That is amazing.

Oh, 19.

And he throws it right back at this. Oh, Stefan waits.

Yeah, Stefan.

So cool.

Well, I was like, what? Stump is losing his mind.

And then the missile comes flying back at Stefan.

But she had to make a deck save, Right? So does it?

Oh, yeah. So then it's.

No, I made a deck save. You told me to make a deck. Oh, would you hit it for 19.

Yeah. Okay. So it flies right past you.

Oh.

Which just means basically you don't get hurt. He doesn't get hurt. Yeah, and he's just like, he looks at you, starts like scratching his chin because he doesn't have a beard there yet.He's like scratching it.

He's like, maybe I've underestimated you.

And we go to the next kid.

This is a child that underestimated, like a very old man.

Yep.

Like these other two, they kind of start circling around, you know, so they start doing the whole like, let's circle, you guys look. So these other two start circling around.

This is bad, Louis.

I can't do anything.

One of them, he begins to like, swirl his hands around. And you see this like brown, nasty looking goo start like forming around his hands. And he throws it right at the feet of both stump and Eloise.As grease just spreads in a 10 foot square centered on a point within range and turns into difficult terrain for the duration. You have to succeed when the grease appears.Each creature standing in its area must succeed on dexterity saving throw or have the prone condition and slip on your butt.

Shoot.

Who's holding me, holding me.

So Stumpy Lou, I need.

Okay, Dex saving throws.

Please be comical like you're slipping on a banana peel while holding me.

So you all start like, like, you know, getting your footing and then you both just end up still standing as this happen.

Oh, thank you. Oh, so this is bad. We should get out of here.

And the other one. So it's the last wizard's turn now because two are knocked out. Stefan just went. His buddy just went.Now the last one who circled on the other side sees you all kind of like holding your balance. And all the other boys look to him and he just has this like terrible looking grin on his face. His hands turn bright red as they begin to burn.His hands are burning.

Burning hands and shoots.

Where are you going with this?

Yeah.

As his hands turn red and catch fire, he pushes them in a 15 foot cone.

Oh, no, no, no.

Three of you as you now have to make another dexterity saving throw.

And he's hitting which.

And I automatically.

Automatically fail. Yes.

Oh, my gosh, this is so much fun. Never gonna listen to least her again.

Oh, really? Two 13s.

All right, you both saved. So you two will take half damage, easy.

I'm sorry.

You will take the full damage. One's off the table. I rolled so low. A three, a one and a one.

So five.

So you two will take two damage, and easy will take five damage.

Wow.

Three, six. And I rolled five.

This is unacceptable.

You feel hot and it, like, stirs you awake.

All you had to do was get slapped or take damage.

And you wake up noise.

As the last one of the loyalist goes before Stump before it's your turn, you hear footsteps coming up the stairs.

Uhhuh.

You see a tall wizard in a very beautiful white robe.

You know who this is?

And you see him walking up the stairs slowly. He's got a stuffed mouse, toy necklace around his neck. And he walks up, and you see the boys, they look at him like,.

Oh, Felix, what are you doing here?

As Felix the Great, the leader of the Rum Tum Tugger loyalists, walks up the stairs, and he sees what's going on. He looks at these young wizards and you three, you burning a little bit easy. The rest of you, standing in Greece.And he sees two of his young wizards knocked out or one stunned, and one is like, knocked out unconscious. And the other three are like, you know, hands up, ready to battle. He stands and looks at all three of you, plus his. His young wizard apprentices.And he goes and sits on the railing and says,.

Well, boys, let's see what you got.

Wow.

So Stump, his shoulders are like way up over his head. He is, like, pretty low. He is freaking out. And he looks at Easy and Elui.

And he's like, so.

All right, just make sure. Is there a window where we are?

There's a slit where the telescope goes out.

Okay.

It's not just like right there. You'd have to, like, climb the wall a little bit into a little cove, and then there's like a slit.

Okay, well, Stump is, like, nudging his head to the side, and he's like, let's go.

This is very bad. These guys are going to get stomped. And they Won't stop. Look over there. There's a little spot we could go. Do we go? Yes, we do. I think.

And so, Louisa Stump.

We can't fly. There's just a bunch of little brats. We can take them now.

Oh, you're right. Stomp cannot fly.

But what if. Wait. Hey, Stomp, when he little. Remember those old stories of the There was a coyote. He jump out.He always find when he fall, sometimes there's like a. Like a big cart of pillows. Hey, what if there's a big part of pillows Sounds a lot better than these guys.

And so Louis looks at Stomp and.

Says, Stomp, dig deep. You're struggling with things from your past, but this is an opportunity to overcome and to change who you are for good.

Stomp thought no. These guys, they always win. There's no point. They're right. We should just go. Maybe if we run down these stairs really faster.Or what if stump jump first and he fall, but. And then he catch you?

Really tough guy. He used stones and dirt. You can very good abilities.

I want to because I'm like, next to you. Because he Just put me down. So, like, I. I touch your thigh.

So I'm be like, you can do this. And I kind of just, like, nod my head, and I'm like, you can do this.

Yep, if you want to watch, the grease is still down there.

Okay. Stump is going to attempt to walk over to him.

Okay. And it's only 10 food, so you only have to make one save, so.

And I have advantage, so. Okay, I got a 15.

You, you, you slowly. It's a little shifty there for a minute, but you make it out of the grease, and now you're back.And since it is difficult terrain, that 10ft of movement to get out is actually 20ft of movement. Take it out and see, he's about another 10ft away from you. So, I mean, you're still pretty close. It's a pretty tight quarters.

Okay. Stump is going to use an unarmed strike.

All right, roll to hit.

That is a four. Oh.

So, you know, you set easy down, you walk through the grease. Maybe it's just the nerves. You all see stumps just a little shaky, not quite confident in the swing.And really all that kid has to do is just step back, just. Just barely, and it just right in front of him. Do you want to take your second attack?

Yeah, I'll go for another.

I am sorry. That also misses you. Don't add anything. You need to add your strength. Oh, I'm sure it's an unarmed attack.

Yeah. That wouldn't have hit good. But with what you just rolled, you go to take a swing and you notice that, like, okay, you feel more confident.You go to take a swing, and then all of a sudden, this just like, invisible force field, in a sense, like, pops up.

As he takes shield as a reaction to up his ac, another five to be able to not get hit. So you go to, like, swing down and just this invisible shield just above, like, appears right before him.

It's boom.

You hit that and it's just like. It hurts a little bit, but it's almost like it kind of absorbs the punch.

Yeah.

But he's just standing there staring at.

You, just dead in the eyes.

And you hear behind him,.

Espous claps a little bit and then just goes back to watching.

Gosh, what a bunch of turds.

Like, seriously, Stump, he kind of, like, looks down into the side and he.

Says, stump knew it.

Nick just patted Nathan on the shoulder.

I just feel so bad for stuff. He needs some confidence, you know, he needs to connect a blow here.

I would like to. Let's see. I want to use. So I have two attacks I'm going to use. Should I do my. I'm gonna do my greatsword. So that's what I'm gonna do.

Okay, question, Stump. When you sat easy down, did you set easy down in the grease or did you, like, throw her out of it?Like, I need to know if you set her down in the grease or not.

I mean, I gotta be honest, in my head, I just sat her down, like, right next to her.

So you are in the grease.

So if you're gonna move out of the grease, you will need to make a dexterity saving throw.

And in the middle, you see that there is three wizards standing in the.

One you know to be Felix, the other, you remember, is Elephanthel the Good, who is the male elf wearing green, green robes from the Rufio loyalist and Elantra the tortoise wizard. Yep, from the fringe wizards.And amongst these wizards, you see they're wearing the white robes, you know, because of the roofy, the RTT loyalists, the green robes for the roof yoga loyalists, the brown robes. You do see Leester sitting among them, like amongst the crowd in his blue garb.

And you also notice another wizard that you've met previously is also sitting among them.

And you see them all whispering, like, amongst the crowd, and you see that they bring out three chairs and, like, sit him in the middle of the room. And they're like. And he points at you. Eli was like, you introduce yourself and sit nigh.

Was just like these branches going off. We thought it was metaphors, but no, it's literal streams of branched magic. Magic that goes through Sendo.Not a lot of people know this, but we don't actually. We are not magical beings. We are just beings who are in tune with magic to be able to control it, but we cannot produce the magic ourselves. We just.And this does not leave the room. We cannot create the magic. We can just manipulate. Manipulate the magic. Only few are chosen to do that. And the wizards can manipulate.So the things you see them creating, they are not actually creating. They're just manipulating the magic that is already there.
